WaterSENSE project outcomes presented at the 2024 Australian Cotton Conference

Brian Jackson from Water Technology Pty Ltd presented a summary of the WaterSENSE project outcomes and their potential benefits for growers at the 2024 Australian Cotton Conference.

Some of the many operational data services and products available from WaterSENSE and mentioned in the presentation include:

Evapotranspiration and biomass data;
Gauge adjusted Radar rainfall data;
In season weekly irrigated land-use detection;
In season daily irrigated water use estimation;
Soil moisture, water use efficiency;
Farm water balance information such as runoff, soil water content, percolation;
Farm dam area and volume detection.

These can be provided via our API and/or as a web-based user interface in HydroNET.
