Port of Melbourne environmental monitoring supported with HydroNET live alerts and dashboards
Port of Melbourne undertakes hydrographic surveying activities within its dredged material placement area after certain storm events.
HydroNET is happy to support this need by providing live alerts and dashboards of observed and forecast wind speed and direction in our HydroNET Water Control Room. Port of Melbourne use this information to monitor the weather and trigger any required survey activities related to the dredged material placement areas.
This is made easy with the HydroNET Water Control Room. Port of Melbourne only need an internet connection to access the data and alerts – removing any of the data collection, processing, management and storage headaches that are often associated with real time monitoring systems.
