HydroNET and Water Technology sign partnership in the presence of the Dutch King and Queen
In the presence of His Majesty the King of the Netherlands, Andrew McCowan and Steve Clark from Water Technology and Leanne Reichard from HydroLogic signed a long-term cooperation agreement to establish HydroNET in Australia. Water Technology will be the reseller and first point of contact for HydroNET in Australia.
Access to real-time weather and water information
Like many countries, Australia faces more frequent and excessive rainfall, flash floods and longer periods of extreme drought. To be optimally prepared, access to real-time weather and water information is essential in reducing the impacts and risks before, and during, weather related events.
HydroNET provides water managers with the ability to bring the data they need together, when they need it and with sophisticated applications and dashboards to aid timely decision making.
It is a multiple award winning web-based decision support system that provides intelligent solutions for water management professionals.
The HydroNET Water Control Room consists of a set of smart web-applications which transform data from internal and external data sources into valuable, personalised deci-sion support dashboards and reports. These tools empower water professionals to make informed and transparent decisions for the sustainable management of water resources.
The signing and launch are part of the official State Visit of the Dutch King and Queen to Australia that is taking place from 31 October until 4 November.
